Alvarado manufactures a complete line of gates for virtually every application. Manual
swing gates are used to provide access for shopping carts, wheelchair patrons and bulk
materials when used in conjunction with railings and turnstiles. They also provide
emergency exits as required by local building, safety, and fire codes. |

A 36" HLG gate provides access through a
triple rail section. In case of emergency, this gate features an optional breakaway latch
finger. Application of a pre-determined amount of pressure causes the breakaway latch
finger to fold, thereby allowing the gate to open. |

The LG provides gate access in a double rail
system. Designed for daily operation, the LG gate features a unique lower bearing outlet
that adds additional strength to the gate. The durable latch assembly can be padlocked for
added security. The LG is designed to open in one direction, but the latch finger is
reversible, allowing the swing direction to be changed. A breakaway latch is available for
use as an emergency exit. The gate is manually opened and closed. The LGX w/panic bar and
alarm can be key overridden. The alarm lock operates on four 1.5V batteries. |

The HLG includes all the features of the LG
but is designed for use with higher security, triple rail, systems. The alarm lock
breakaway system featured with the HLGX gate works like an emergency exit door. An alarm
sounds when unauthorized use is attempted. The panic bar & alarm can be key
overridden. The alarm lock operates on four 1.5V batteries.

The SADR is ideal for use as an emergency
exit. The swing-away double rail gate opens easily when minimal pressure is applied. The
SADR features a unique lower bearing outlet, adding additional strength to the gate. This
model is commonly approved as an emergency exit by local fire marshals and municipalities.

A double sleeve hinge assembly and flip
latch locking mechanism enables the SL-15 to swing in either direction. This 15" high
gate can be mounted on any existing 2.25" O.D. post. (posts shown are not included).
Model SL-10 is 10" high and features the same adjustable sleeve hinge mounting and
flip latch assembly as the SL-15. Designed for aisle closure, the SL-10 conveniently fits
between a standard double rail section when not in use.
