Posts are available with several anchoring
systems: Vogue, Zenith, Space saver, Removable, and Core Drilled.
Vogue ( Model V
) posts are standard for GDF, GDFX, GDO, and CADR gates. Four-way anchors are used to set
the posts (anchors not included).
Zenith ( Model
Z ) posts use 4-way anchors plus an additional strong, center steel
anchoring shaft, double-expansion shaft anchor, and base.
Anchors are included.
Space Saver ( Model S
) posts use the same center steel anchoring shaft as the Zenith. The Space Saver
features a smaller post base and a cover plate which uses less floor space.
Removable ( Model R
) posts provide a solid removable anchoring system. Posts have a steel shaft securely
welded to the base plate. The shaft slips into a an installed floor socket and can be
removed as required.
Core Drilled ( Model
CD ) posts are available with all base and cover sizes. The 2 1/4" post tube
extends beyond the base 6". This extension is cemented into a pre-drilled hole in a
concrete floor, providing an extremely strong mounting.
All Alvarado anchoring systems are suitable
for use with concrete and terrazzo flooring. The Zenith/SpaceSaver shaft double expansion
anchor is 1" dia., 2 7/8" long, and is capable of withstanding 15,000 lbs. of
pull out force. The four-way anchor uses 5/8" O.D. anchors and 3/8" x 1
3/4" bolts. Specify either concrete or terrazzo installation when ordering anchor
sets. |
